Packet Pick Up- 107 S 3rd Street; Polk City, IA
- Thursday 6/26 - Polk City Farmers Market 5:00-8:00PM on the North corner of the town square (in front of Creamery)
- Friday 6/27 - Polk City town square 5:00-8:00 * if over 21 your packet pick up comes with a drink ticket.
- Come enjoy the Friday night bands and a drink on us!
- Saturday 6/28 - 6:00-6:45AM North side of town square
Race Morning Logistics
- Parking options in the AM are corner of 3rd and Broadway behind fire station; Behind The Creamery on Broadway on grass; Old Church Parking Lot on corner of Wood Street & Broadway. Also bicycle parking at Fenders Brewery and bike racks at town square
- Race announcements & Anthem will start at 7:15AM at American Legion Post 114 W Broadway
- 5K Starts at 7:30..followed by the 8K and then the 2.5K
- 8:30-8:35 kids running event will line up with Mr. Jungman back by American Legion
- 8:45 racing awards will be announced at town square.
Race Route Logisitics:
- Cones, Signs and volunteers will be on the route to ensure a safe and successful race however there are residential running areas so please ensure awareness of surroundings and possibly vehicles.
- 5K & 8K route will run under Parker Street this year and then split 5K onto Parker & 8K on bike trail.
- 8K runners when exiting Big Creek trail will take a right and then a left onto Broadway. Cross street with caution and stay in right side bike lane.
- FINISH will be on Broadway between 2nd and 3rd street by Cupp Insurance..
